Soundboard of spruce with narrow grain at the center, which widens towards the flanks. Back of two pieces of curly maple on average curl, glued in a herringbone pattern with vertex at the top. Ribs of wood similar to that of the back. Scorll of maple very smooth. Golden-brown varnish.
