1678 - Violin "Joachim"

Soundboard of spruce of medium grain. Back of two pieces of curly maple on medium curl, glued in a herringbone pattern with apex at the top. Ribs curly maple cut on the slab. Scroll of wood similar to that of the bottom. Golden brown varnish.
