1675 c. - Violin

Back of two pieces of curly maple in marbling medium-narrow glued in a herringbone pattern with apex at the bottom, with the addition of a strip of wood in the center, inserted for the enlargement of the instrument, executed in 1800 c., probably by John Betts (Beare 1965).
