1672 - Violin

Soundboard of spruce narrow grain, opening toward the flanks. Back of two pieces of curly maple with narrow curl uneven, glued in a herringbone pattern with apex at the top. Ribs of wood similar to that of the bottom. Red-brown-gold varnish.
