1670/72 - Violin "Lioness"
Soundboard of spruce at medium grain, which widens towards the hips. Back of one piece of maple cut on the slab and with a lioness painted, perhaps by an unknown German painter active in Dublin in the 18th century (Hill). Ribs of maple cut on the slab. Scroll of plain maple. Orange-brown varnish.
