Instrument with lobed profile of Venetian culture. Soundboard in six pieces of fir. Back of two pieces of maple of English antique trade of later period. Ribs of curly maple slightly marbled, with maple outer linings. Original scroll of maple smooth, with the graft on maple neck slightly marbled. Dark reddish-brown varnish.
