1671 c. - Violin

Soundboard of one piece of spruce with narrow grain which widens towards the treble. Back of two pieces of curly maple with narrow curl, glued in a herringbone pattern with vertex at the top. Ribs of wood similar to that of the back. Scroll of smooth maple. Golden varnish.
