1638/98 - Violin

Soundboard of spruce with medium curl, of period posterior and attributed to Vincenzo Ruggieri. Back of two pieces of curly maple with medium curl, glued in a herringbone pattern with vertex at the top. Ribs and scroll of wood similar to that of the back. Red-brown varnish.
