1535/37 - Trophy with "theatrical" lyre

The lira is painted in the decoration of the intrados of the north arch of the tiburio.

The lira has features that do not correspond to those of the musical instrument and shows the classical form idealized by the artists of the time and used to appear in the hands of the characters participating in representations of "theater."
