- He attended the International violin making school in Cremona, where he was a pupil of Peter Tatar. He graduated in violin at the Conservatory of Music and attended the School of Musical Palaeography in Cremona, where he graduated with a thesis on Tarquinio Merula. He was a violin teacher at the Scuola Internazionale di Liuteria and at the Istituto Magistrale School of Cremona. Conservator of the collection of musical instruments of the Municipality of Cremona, he was then appointed conservator of the Museo Stradivariano and Director of the "C. Monteverdi" Civic School of Music. He built very few instruments.
