In 1966 he graduated from the International School of Liuteria in Cremona, under the guidance of the masters Garimberti, Sgarabotto and Sacconi, deepening his knowledge with the master Ornati. In 1967-1969 he collaborated with master Morassi in the construction of violas. Between 1968 and 1971 he worked as a violin-maker with Master Bissolotti. During this period he also collaborated with Sacconi master in the restoration of precious instruments. In 1967 he received the gold medal, and in 1969 a silver medal at the Mostre Mercato Biennali of Cremona. In 1970 he won a silver medal for a violin at Bagnacavallo. He has also received prestigious awards, such as the Gold Medal at the 1° Concorso Triennale Internazionale degli Strumenti ad Arco of Cremona, at the "Exemplar 78" in Munich. He was a member of the Jury of the Cremona Concorso Triennale Internazionale, the Finnish Violin-Making Competition in Helsinki at the International Biennial Competition in Querétaro (Mexico). In 1997 he represented the Cremonese lutherie in Maastricht and in 2000 she attended a show of Italian violin-makers at the invitation of the Chinese government. From 1975 to 2005 he was a teacher at the Scuola Internazionale di Liuteria of Cremona. During the lessons he has repeatedly experimented with the construction of instruments other than those of the quartet, collaborating with the students, who have received several awards.
