- Son of Giovanni Maria, he would have been born in Pozzaglio and obtained the Cremonese citizenship in 1610 he joined the Guild of Marengoni (Carpenters) where we find him listed among the participants in the assemblies of 1627 and 1634. It is probable that he followed his father's profession in building musical instruments too, "that is, violas and citarre et legni da citra".
